Noble Dancer - Thoroughbred
During training, Noble Dancer suffered an injury on a muddy track. He tore ligaments, displaced his sesamoid bone, and it was forced into the canal of his left leg. The surgery was successful: Noble Dancer recovered and retired. He passed away on June 27, 1994, having survived for 15 years after the surgery.

Saratoga Six - Thoroughbread
Saratoga Six shattered sesamoid bone of left front leg in bad step during workout. The horse Six recovered after her surgery and subsequently stayed at the stud farm. After 20 years, she died in the barn in 2006 at the age of 24.

Chelokee - Thoroughbred
Chelokee sustained a severe dislocation of the sesamoid bones in his right front ankle. The injury destroyed all supporting ligaments, making his joint entirely unstable. The horse underwent fetlock arthrodesis surgery and subsequently resided at a stud farm. After six years, the horse was euthanized in 2014 due to chronic pain in the left front foot.
